On Saturday the 5th of September 2015, RuWCED graduated its 2014/2015 computer students. This event saw the participation of many from the community, including some government officials. RuWCED has a training Center for Computer, Sewing and dress making, knitting and craft-work recognized by the Government Delegation of Employment and Vocational Training.
SYNERGIES AT WORK: The sewing department of RuWCED sewed graduation robes for graduates of the computer studies department. Congratulations to our brave young women who graduated and a big thank you to the staff especially Yvonne and the students of our sewing department who made the robes.
We are very grateful to the Government Delegate of Employment and Vocational Training who officiated the graduation ceremony. He congratulated the graduating students and their parents/guardans for chosing the Rural Women Center for Education and Development Training center for their study, while giving his full support for the work RuWCDED is doing within the community.
Vera, Helen and the Government Delegate of Employment and Vocational Training giving their speeches during this great occasion. This was also the scene for us to welcome our two New International Volunteers; Nehle and Tessa. RuWCED is happy and thankful to its partners for already having three volunteers in Ndop for the 2015/2016 calendar year.
